The AA has extended a mobile services contract with O2 until
2013.
The contract covers all mobile services for the AA's employees,
including voice, data and Blackberry smartphone connections.
In addition, the new deal will see O2 supplying the AA with
bespoke mobile and data systems, which address the needs of the
business.
The O2 team will also provide consultancy services to ensure the
AA, conducting voice and data
audits and identifying and correcting problems to optimise
services.
"Mobile technology is a key mechanism for us to target our
end-users," said Chris Bailey, head of motoring technologies at the
AA. "We require a mobile partner with a robust and reliable network
that has excellent coverage across the UK.
"O2 has proven that it can provide us with a flexible solution
across a range of devices, and its commitment to helping us drive
efficiencies and effectively manage such an intrinsic part of our
business has shown it to be the right partner for us."
