Microsoft will issue four
security patches next week to address vulnerabilities in the
SQL Server database platform, the
Exchange e-mail server and the
Windows operating system.
The four patches will be distributed tomorrow (8 July) as part
of Microsoft's monthly security patching schedule.
None of the patches though have been deemed as "critical" by
Microsoft, with all four being labelled as "important".
A critical patch is more urgent as remote attackers can take
advantage of the vulnerability with no user interaction.
Firms will therefore have a bit more time next week to put the
important patches in place.
