ScottishPower has extended its long-running communications infrastructure contract with Thus.

The network carries all corporate voice, data and internet traffic, and provides access to all centralised corporate applications for the ScottishPower group of companies throughout the UK.

ScottishPower has offices in more than 70 locations across the UK, including central and southern Scotland, Wales, Merseyside and London.

As well as basic voice and data access, the Thus contract includes the provision of video conferencing, access to shared corporate customer relationship management and billing systems.

Derek Johnston, architecture and technology manager at ScottishPower said, "The service and reliability track record of Thus has meant that we have faith in their ability to support our corporate objectives with a communication solution that meets our needs today and which will grow with us in the future."
