Ridge and Partners opts for Workspace to improve workflow

Construction consultancy Ridge and Partners has invested £130,000 in web-based knowledge management software to standardise and improve workflow practices.

Workspace from Union Square enables the company to store all e-mails and scanned paper documents in a single repository for 250 employees in seven offices across the UK.

"This makes it much faster and easier to find things and gives the multidisciplinary teams equal access to the latest version of all project documents," said Roger Sandell, an associate at Ridge and Partners.

The company chose Union Square because of its experience in building and consulting and the ability of its software to automate the process of assigning e-mails to various projects as well as make the information available anywhere staff had internet access.
