UK property development businessThe Miller Grouphas invested in routers that connect to theO2 mobile phone networkto speed up the provision of on-site communications.

The Sarian routers include 3G Sim cards to connect new construction sites to the internet, e-mail and the company enterprise resource planning (ERP) system within a few days instead of months.

"On-site ordering is the best way to ensure we get the right materials, but in some cases it was taking up to three months to get a fixed-line connection installed," said Derek Simpson from The Miller Group.

The Sarian HR4110 routers enable the Miller Group to order materials when required, preventing backlogs and project delays.

The O2 online UK coverage facility enables the Miller group to check 3G coverage before site work begins, allowing the company to decide whether to use a mobile or satellite connection.
