Oracle has launched Oracle Universal Content Management 10g Release 3 to expand its enterprise content management offering (ECM).

The new software is a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, with the product providing a hot-pluggable ECM platform that helps organisations capture, store, manage, find, publish and retain unstructured content, said Oracle.

Oracle Universal Content Management allows organisations to consolidate enterprise content and multiple websites on a single platform.

It enables them to rapidly deploy synchronised multiple line-of-business applications, such as multilingual websites, secure intranets and extranets, compliance processes, call centre knowledge bases and brand management solutions.
