SAS is expanding its reach in the data integration market to help companies link up their various operational data silos.

At its SAS Users Group International (SUGI) conference in San Francisco this week, SAS is unveiling new features for its existing enterprise data integration server.

The new features will deliver data profiling and monitoring, as well as data cleaning. The data integration tools will allow customers to synchronise and manage customer information across an enterprise.

The SAS enhancements to its business data integration tools are designed to widen the business intelligence capabilities within companies.

Instead of relying on separate business intelligence tools they will also be able to use data integration tools to clearly see what is happening in their data warehouses.

At the user conference, the company is also expected to announce the launch of a new data integration server platform, to support the extended data analysis reach of its new tools.
