Quest Software announces Microsoft System Center Platform product launch

Quest Software has expanded its product set to help organisations plan, deploy and manage their IT infrastructures by getting more out of Microsoft's System Center Platform.

Quest Softwarehas expanded its product set to help organisations plan, deploy and manage their IT infrastructures by getting more out of Microsoft's System Center Platform.

Quest is launching Quest Management Extensions - Configuration Manager 2007 Edition, and the Quest Management Pack for Oracle - Operations Manager 2007 Edition.

Quest is also making available solutions that support Microsoft's System Centre Operations Manager 2007 Cross-Platform Management Extensions, and the System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 Performance & Resource Optimisation (PRO) feature.

Mike Bowe, general manager of the System Center division at Quest Software, said, "The Microsoft System Center Family helps IT departments maximise return on investment while helping to lower total cost of ownership with a comprehensive management platform.
