Investment bank Rothschild is rolling out Optial’s Operational Risk Management platform to help protect its business.
Rothschild Bank AG Zurich has recently gone live on Optial, and implementation for NM Rothschild & Sons UK has now commenced.
Chris O’Brien, Optial CEO said, “Deploying Optial adds a key additional layer in the overall management of a financial institution’s operational risk, bringing together all potential risks within a control framework and enabling management to focus on the biggest potential risks.”
In Zurich, Rothschild took advantage of a “quick start” standardised pre-configured Optial system to quicken the deployment over a period of weeks.
The UK operation has chosen the same system, said Optial. The Rothschild banking group has offices in more than 30 countries and employs more than 2,000 people around the world.
The Optial system is also used by Standard Chartered Bank, among others.
