Quest Software is among a variety of third-party suppliers launching offerings at the OracleWorld conference in San Francisco this week.

The company will announce SharePlex data replication software for Oracle on the Linux platform. The product is intended to make it easier to migrate existing Oracle databases to Linux.

Quest's Vista Plus Suite, an enterprise information management system for access to business-critical fixed content, will boost delivery of fixed content to the Oracle Application Server Portal 10g. Vista Plus Suite also archives and delivers electronic documents, reports, and printouts to customer-facing portals via a web interface.

The company's JProbe Java performance tuning toolkit will support Oracle Application Server 10g.

Meanwhile, GoldenGate will reveal that its GoldenGate 7 data synchronisation platform supports Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) on Linux. Later this year, GoldenGate will support its platform and Oracle RAC on IBM's AIX Unix OS.

Also at the conference:

XIOtech, maker of storage networking technology, is announcing availability of Magnitude RAC Pack for Oracle9i RAC implementations.

Magnitude RAC Pack is a preconfigured bundle for the deployment of Oracle9i RAC, including servers, database, and storage infrastructure. XIOtech claimed that using the dynamic provisioning of the Magnitude storage family with Oracle9i RAC reduces database deployment time and simplifies management while delivering scalability.

SofTrek, an Oracle applications hoster, is launching Appitat, which provides customised IT outsourcing and applications using Oracle9i Application Server technology. Appitat provides an environment for building 9i AS applications and features an application hosting facility.

Jacada will announce an agreement with Oracle to boost integration of legacy applications.

Jacada's Integrator will provide this integration for customers of Oracle Application Server 9i and the upcoming 10g release of the application server. Oracle's consulting and pre-sales organisations can use Jacada Integrator to help Oracle customers build and deploy legacy integration solutions.

A JCA resource adapter will enable Jacada to run seamlessly within the Oracle10g Application Server environment.
