The event, being held in central London on 19 October, is being sponsored by e centreUK, an independent body representing 16,000 users of electronic business, and banking body the Association of Payment & Clearing Services (Apacs).
The course comes at a time when a number of financial companies have been suffering high-profile e-commerce technology slip-ups which have affected major operations. These include security breaches at Barclays and Egg and a delayed e-commerce roll-out at NatWest.
The course's organisers say the workshop aims to create a forum where vital e-business issues can be debated and taken forward. Subjects that will be covered include:
