The final agenda for this summer's IT Directors' Forum has been released, with delegates promised a conference that will cover the key issues for the IT department.
Areas to be covered at the June event, held on the new Aurora cruise liner, include: the IT director's changing role; new agendas for the IT department; mobile technology; the creation of an e-commerce strategy; customer relationship management; flexible working; staff retention; and making sense of knowledge management.
Presentations and workshops include Lloyds of London interim IT director Chris Rawson, who will talk about the increasing trend of companies relying on interim IT directors. The number of interim managers is increasing at a rate of 30% a year.
George Cox, director general of the Institute of Directors, will talk about the changing role of the IT director, and the opening address will be given by Roger Ellis, chairman of the British Computer Society's Elite Group.
The event will be held between 15 and 18 June, and will be attended by 500 people. More details are available here.
