Office shirkers who prefer to play games on their PC rather than work have been given a new avenue for their skiving, in the form of 9to5cafe.com, writes Antony Savvas.

As we all, or perhaps some of us, know, the secret to not getting caught by the boss when looking at something we shouldn't be, is to have a lightning finger on the escape button or be quick on the draw, down to "close".

But thanks to 9to5cafe.com the shirkers don't have to worry about these skills, for every game available to play comes camouflaged within suitable office applications.

For instance, you can play a very entertaining putting game, and against a very beatable par, within an Excel spreadsheet. Alternatively, you can practise your skiing down the slopes of Mount Excel, or shoot space invaders within a false desktop screen.

But, just in case you do not want to test the false graphics when the boss is too close, a panic button will pull up a false page of text in progress. Then again, known layabouts may bring more suspicion on themselves by having anything resembling work on their screens.
