Music label Hed Kandi has become the first UK business to use Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007.

Last month the firm, which is owned by Ministry of Sound, used a beta version of the enterprise portal software to relaunch its website with Web 2.0 functionality.

James Bacchus, head of operations for Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi, said, "We knew that if we were to hit any big problems it would be in the development phase.

Since the launch we have had a small issue with unauthenticated visitors using the search facility on the site, but that has been cleared up by the latest Beta 2 Technical Refresh release."
