Helly Hansen sets sail with Verizon for global IP network

Sailing and outdoor clothing group Helly Hansen has signed up Verizon Business to upgrade and provide support for a managed private IP network across offices in 17 countries.

Sailing and outdoor clothing group Helly Hansen has signed up Verizon Business to upgrade and provide support for a managed private IP network across offices in 17 countries.

Under the deal, Verizon will manage the data network and provide a secure gateway from the group's Oslo head office - where HH sponsors the Academy cat in races such as the Nokia Oops Cup - to ensure the availability of business-critical applications such as ERP systems. and video conferencing across the network.
