Household cleaning products firm Reckitt Benckiser is optimising its server performance with Disk Space Manager 4.0 from Halcyon Software.
The system is being rolled out across the firm's IBM System i server farm to optimise storage capacity.
Reckitt Benckiser said it chose Disk Space Manager for the quality of its GUI front-end, and the ability of the software to recognise independent auxiliary storage pools.
The firm said the software allowed it to easily drill down into the information stored on the server, to see the size of a library and the objects contained within it.
