Arla Foods selects Norman Network Protection

Lurpak butter producer Arla is protecting its production networks with the help of Norman Network Protection.

Lurpak butter producer Arla is protecting its production networks with the help of Norman Network Protection (NNP).

The Arla Foods Group is one of Europe's largest dairy companies, producing milk-based products from sites in Sweden, Denmark and the UK.

Arla uses web-based ERP systems that are increasingly integrated into the production network As with most.

As a result, the production network is in direct physical contact with the network and the internet, which poses security risks that could impact on production.

Arla therefore needed to improve network security, especially as it was also concerned about external consultants introducing malware onto the network too.

Arla has addressed its security concerns without major changes to its existing infrastructure by implementing NNP.

It is designed to detect and protect against malicious network traffic, stopping viruses, worms, trojans and spyware, without sacrificing network performance.
