Wireless SLAs gain traction

Market research firm In-Stat predicts that SLAs will become an expected service feature within five years, particularly for large companies, as data services increasingly become part of the wireless story.

Market research firm In-Stat predicts that SLAs will become an expected service feature within five years, particularly for large companies, as data services increasingly become part of the wireless story.

But there’s a long way to go. An SLA currently ranks as the sixth most important service attribute in the 2005 In-Stat survey, up from seventh place a year earlier.

'Significant refinement is required to make SLAs relevant to most corporate buyers,' says In-Stat analyst Allyn Hall.
