New CEO for the Delphi Group

IT recruitment and consultancy business, Delphi Group has announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer.

Peter Pfister, president of Adecco's professional staffing division, assumed operational responsibility for the group earlier this month. His predecessor, Tony Reeves, who joined the agency in 1994, remains as non-executive chairman while working on other business projects.

"Tony's made a great contribution to the development of our group and we're sorry to see him go, although we will continue to benefit from his experience and counsel in his role as non-executive chairman," says Adecco chief executive, John Bowmer. Adecco SA acquired the Delphi Group in March 1999 for £167 million.
