Adobe sales grow 42%

Adobe has reported a 42% increase in revenue in its third financial quarter compared to the same period a year ago.

In the third quarter revenue was just over $990m compared to about $698m in the same period last year.

"Strong performance in each of our major businesses contributed to record revenue and strong earnings in the third quarter," said Shantanu Narayen, CEO at the graphic design software company. "We remain bullish about Adobe's long-term role in enabling the transformation of content and applications across industries."

Adobe is targeting revenue of between $950m and $1bn in the next quarter.
