Martha Lane Fox seeks public digital service consultation

Kathleen Hall

UK digital champion Martha Lane Fox is asking for public feedback on how to make the government's digital services more efficient.

She will be leading a review of the services to assess how they can be transformed with assistance from a small group of business and public sector advisors, but will also be canvassing public opinion.

"It's not often you get the opportunity to step back and assess how things should be different, so I'm interested in all ideas - particularly the radical and off-the-wall.

"This is an independent review for which I'm seeking general feedback, so while I can promise that we will read each piece of feedback received, I can't promise to acknowledge all feedback or to include it in the final review proposals," she said.

The public will be able to give feedback until 3 September.
