SAP makes cloud collaboration available as free beta

Cliff Saran

SAP has opened up its 12sprint collaborative platform to users through a public beta. The 12sprint cloud-based service is designed to help teams of internal and external users share information, collect feedback, brainstorm or analyse across the group.

The service integrates components of the SAP BusinessObjects Explorer technology to enable users to analyse data.

"People don't want to be bound by unnatural and fragmented ways of working," said Marge Breya, executive vice-president at SAP. She said 12sprint provides business intelligence and collaboration technology, together with a framework to help teams share intelligence and make better decisions.

The public beta version of 12sprints is a free hosted service available online. SAP plans to offer both free and paid-for versions.
