Huddle, the collaboration platform
that uses theLinkedIn social networking service,
has tied up with conferencing company InterCall to provide
subscribers with unified collaboration, communication and social
networking.
Through the partnership, InterCall customers can access Huddle's
secure online workspaces for project management tools within
conferences.
InterCall conferencing customers can schedule phone and web
meetings in Huddle and share dial-in details, documents and meeting
minutes, as well as accessing project management and collaboration
tools, including discussions, whiteboards, tasks and document
versioning and audit trail, the companies said.
"Our partnership means that users across the globe can work
together better, online or during live conferencing, regardless of
their size or budget," said Alastair Mitchell, co-founder and CEO
of Huddle.
Under the terms of the deal, InterCall will sell Huddle globally
and give each of its customers a free Huddle account. Similarly,
Huddle's enterprise customers will be able to take advantage of
InterCall's conferencing services.
