Fujitsu
Siemens is offering new laptop buyers a free replacement
machine of the same value three years after they buy the
original.
The firm's Lifebook4Life promotion guarantees to provide a free
Lifebook replacement system after three years, subject to terms and
conditions.
The company is also issuing an Esprimo Promise that pledges to
repair or replace any of its Esprimo systems that fail within the
standard warranty period and give customers their money back.
The offers applies to selected ranges of notebooks and PCs that
Fujitsu Siemens Computers launched at the end of September.
Customers who register their new Lifebook systems within 21 days
of purchase from a reseller and can produce a valid receipt on the
third anniversary of the transaction, will be offered a
contemporary system of comparable specification and value free.
Users of new Esprimo systems need to register their systems with
the company within 21 days or purchase.
The aim of the promotions, said Paul Hoey, head of product
marketing at Fujitsu Siemens Computers UK, is to "underline the
complete confidence that the company has in its systems, and
underlines the high levels of return on investment they deliver to
business users".
