TheRugby Football Union
(RFU)is using a web-based IT service
management system to help it meet the requirements for ITIL
compliance.
The RFU IT team, which supports IT across all RFU sites, is
using the web-based service from Sostenuto
The previous system used would not allow the RFU IT department
to meet the needs of ITIL.
"Sostenuto will help us on several levels. We will manage third
parties more effectively, the timed-release process allows my team
to work within the constraints of the RFU's SLA in a more efficient
way, and we will be able to create multiple categories and sub
categories in the incident creation process," Mike Morris, network
manager at the RFU, said.
He said the ability of the web service to integrate with the RFU
intranet to offer self services is a major benefit.
