Ann Summers, the lingerie and accessories chain, has outsourced its website hosting and management to Claranet to gain service levels of 99.9% uptime, better security and scalability, and relegate network failure points.
Besides serving as an online shop, the website provides celebrity gossip, online games, party bookings and sex tips.
Ann Summers' marketing & business development director, Julian Baker, said, "While all e-commerce sites must protect clients' details, we are particularly keen to provide the best security for customer confidentiality."
