The University of Liverpool has chosenC2C's archiving system to
improveemail storage management.
The university will use the
Archive
One platform to decrease its email backup and protect
mission-critical data.
The University of Liverpool has 4,500 staff and 25,000
registered students.
Staff email
boxes were bulging with irreplaceable coursework and papers and
back-ups were becoming cumbersome.
The University needed an archiving system to cope with large
volumes, retain files for a long time and provide access to old
email.
Iain Stinson, director of computing services at the university,
said, "C2C's archive facility has benefited the university
tremendously in reducing online messages.
"The provision of the active storage required allows staff
immediate access to emails and attachments, regardless of where
they are in the world."
