The Buckinghamshire County Council ICT Schools Service
and the Colchester Institute college are reducing their power and
toner use with a new print system to cut their costs.
The two institutions needed to source a faster, more controlled
and effective network print system, which would be easy to manage
and maintain.
It also had to meet their environmental requirements of using
less power and toner cartridges, and the need to drive down
costs.
The new print set-up, provided by Dell, come with features such
as ColourTrack 2 and Toner Management System, which extend toner
life and reduce the need to stockpile spare consumables.
