Salesforce.com is now offering its customers integrated Google document and e-mail software with their Salesforce on-demand customer relationship management platforms.

The free integrated online software from Google will allow Salesforce CRM users to easily transfer data between the different applications to aid the wider sharing of sales and marketing information.

Google's Gmail system, along with a word processor, spreadsheet and other office productivity programs, will be available to users from today, said Salesforce.

Earlier this month, Google said the apps would be available to users as offline programs too. The move was seen as a further challenge to Microsoft in the office productivity space.
