Irwin Mitchell reduces energy consumption

UK law firm Irwin Mitchell has used software from Verdiem toreduce the energy consumed by PCs.

The company said it has cut PC energy use by 34% through the power management software from Verdiem.

Irwin Mitchell will save an average of 250,440kWh of electricity and reduce CO2 by 107,686kgs across all of its PCs.

"We take our environmental responsibilities as an organisation seriously, and we are making certain that Irwin Mitchell operates in a more sustainable and efficient manner," said Gary Thomas, head of IT operations at Irwin Mitchell.
