Tradeteam, the UK's largest drinks
logistics provider, has completed the first stage of anERP systemupgrade to lower the cost
of ownership and drive new business growth.
The company said the upgrade to
Aurora, the latest version of Infor's ERP System 21 system,
provided new technology that would enable Tradeteam to offer a
stardardised logistics service to UK brewers, soft drink
manufacturers and pubs.
"We were looking for an off-the-shelf product that could answer
our diverse requirements, and the standard version Aurora enables
us to do what we want, very cost-effectively," said Carole Ewers,
business systems manager at Tradeteam.
Tradeteam has worked closely with Infor to bring its specific
business requirements into the development of the standard System
21 Aurora product.
The roll-out of the upgrade to 34 sites across the UK is
scheduled for completion by the end of 2007.
