Reuters has awardedComputacenter Servicesa four-year,
£20m IT support services contract to cut costs and increase service
levels to customers.
The four-year contract supports
Reuters' systems and customers in the UK. The IT infrastructure
support services provided include service management dispatch desks
supply-chain logistics incident, move and change management and
decommissioning.
Beat Goehring, head of PSG UK at Reuters, said, "Our partnership
will facilitate innovation throughout the contract term and will
play a significant part in delivering continued great service to
our customers."
Using Computacenter Services' Shared Services Factory and its
Technical Resource Group of engineers, Reuters will be able to take
advantage of a range of industry best practice methodologies to
optimise service delivery.
A number of Reuters staff will transfer to Computacenter
following the deal.

in Tupe and retaining transferred staff.

with enhanced career prospects, which was a key factor in our
decision to partner with Computacenter Services."
