There is a growing range of devices businesses and home
users can buy to help reduce their
carbon footprint, from energy-saving lightbulbs to solar

Power saving
SMJ has produced a range of remote control standby boxes. These
enable whatever is plugged into the receiver to be turned on and
off. They are designed to save on the energy lost when electrical
devices are kept in standby mode. The single-plug version has a 25m
range. The twin-pack remote control standby saver enables whatever
is plugged into the two receivers to be turned on and off
independently and has a 50m range. There is also ByeByeStandby, the
Triple pack remote control standby saver. This has a 30m range.
Philips Eco light bulbs
Philips is offering several energy efficient light bulbs. These
are designed to help households and businesses save both energy and
money. They come in two styles, a conventional stick and a new
sleeker soft tone version. Available in a range of wattage from 8W
(40W equivalent) to 20W (100W equivalent).

Freeloader -
Freeloader is an advanced portable charging system that can
