Analyst acclaims data quality tools

Datactics’s  DataTrawler has been recognised by Gartner Research in its June 2007 analytical report, Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools, 2007.

The Magic Quadrant is a graphical representation of a marketplace at and for a specific time period. It depicts Gartner's analysis of how certain vendors measure against criteria for that marketplace, as defined by Gartner.

According to the Gartner report, companies are increasingly recognising that data quality has a fundamental impact on their most strategic initiatives and are raising the visibility of data quality activity within their enterprise information management programs. Though compliance and transparency remain top of the agenda, ensuring the realisation of expected benefits from investments in business intelligence and master data management remain an important driver.
