Tesco has extended its applications management contract
with
Xansa in a deal worth £18m.
The three-year contract extension also covers software
development and consultancy services, through Xansa operations in
both the UK and India.
The contract will support Tesco’s distribution, stock
replenishment, pricing, and payroll systems for the UK and the
Republic of Ireland.
“Xansa provides us with expertise in applications management and
a commitment to work together to deliver our key outcomes,” said
Mike McNamara, UK IT director at Tesco. “We are therefore pleased
to be extending our relationship with Xansa for a further three
years.”
Xansa has supplied IT services to Tesco for the past 18
years.
