LucidEra aims to ape
Salesforce.com’s success with the launch of an
on-demand business intelligence (BI) solution for mid-size
companies.
A key element to attain this simplicity is the pre-built
solutions for specific business areas, such as the
forecast-to-billing cycle.
LucidEra’s Forecast-to-Billing draws together sales and
financial data and aims to give managers in both departments a
clear view of what happens from initial sales contact right through
to payment of invoices.
LucidEra can pull together reports from CRM systems, such as
Salesforce.com or NetSuite, with financial data in the order entry
system. This insight could help firms determine how fast sales
opportunities move through the sales and billing cycle or provide
metrics on sales force performance.
Beta customer Ingres says that it has already experienced huge
time savings and better visibility of its business.
"Before LucidEra, we found ourselves downloading data from
multiple sources and merging them into Excel spreadsheets,” said
Tom Berquist, EVP and CFO at Ingres.
LucidEra costs around £1,600 a month, which includes the first
100 user seats, the Forecast-to-Billing solution and pre-built
connectors to three data sources.
