IT infrastructure services firm Computacenter Services has announced a new library of tools and standards that can be shared across its clients, backed by a £30m investment.
Computacenter Services, which provides services to private and public sector organisations, said the £30m “Shared Services Factory” would reduce costs for clients by capturing the key elements of the most successful IT projects and using them to produce standards that could be applied consistently across future initiatives.
Delivering services through shared resources and reference architectures would also ensure rapid and consistent delivery of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) based services, the company added.
Computacenter services has also announced the opening of a new office in Barcelona, Spain, offering a multilingual service, in addition to its existing operations in the UK and Germany.
