Microsoft will release six security updates next Tuesday
as part of its monthly patching cycle.
The 14 November release includes a critical patch for the
company’s XML Core Services technology, and five patches for its
Windows operating system. The highest security rating given to the
five Windows patches is “critical”, although the company has not
provided any further details.
The Windows patches to be distributed this month could include
fixes for known Internet Explorer browser weaknesses. There will
also be two “high-priority” non-security updates distributed by the
company at the same time.
