IBM ships new web content management solution

IBM has started shipping IBM Workplace Web Content Management 6.0 to help accelerate content creation and provide tighter integration with Big Blue’s WebSphere Portal platform. 

IBM says the product delivers easy-to-use authoring tools, making it simple for non-technical users to create and publish customised, up-to-the minute web content. 

New ease-of-use features include menu-based personalisation tools that allow users to customise forms based on a role or function. 

Additionally, a choice of text editors and wiki-like editing features help users edit objects and data on-the-fly.
 
Workplace Web Content Management 6.0 can also interact with other content authoring packages.
