Islington council is looking to hire three IT suppliers
to rapidly expand its flexible working strategy.
The council has placed a pre-tender notice in the Official
Journal of the European Union (OJEU), which seeks help for its
Smart Working programme.
Senior managers at the council are already working flexibly with
the help of shared desks and remote working facilities, but the
council now wants to expand the programme to other staff.
The OJEU advert is seeking help in the implementation of mobile
working, and in the areas of business processes and human resources
linked to the flexible working strategy.
The three suppliers are needed to work within a four-year
strategy framework. The selection process is expected to start this
autumn.
