Oracle boosts RFID server

Oracle has upgraded its Oracle Sensor Edge Server radio frequency identification management product in a bid to improve integration and speed up implementation.
The company said the upgrade offered out-of-the-box integration, with device management for major RFID tag readers, antennas, tag printers and response systems.
It is also integrated with Oracle Fusion Middleware, providing support for RFID-driven business process management and workflows.
Sensor Edge Server also provides RFID event monitoring and business activity monitoring to help optimise supply chain management.
