Bulldog Communications has launched two broadband
internet and phone packages aimed at small to medium-sized
businesses (SMBs).
With Bulldog Small Business, SMBs can have 8mbps broadband,
including up to three phone lines; free Bulldog-to-Bulldog calls;
and a single, integrated bill. BT customers can port their existing
phone numbers and these lines can be used for phone, fax or point
of sale.
The package also includes unlimited broadband usage, McAfee
security software for three PCs and advanced calling features.
Bulldog will provide dedicated freephone business support seven
days a week.
Bulldog Medium Business includes premium business broadband,
with symmetric upload and download speeds to support business
critical applications; and up to eight phone lines that integrate
into an existing phone system.
The company has also announced the findings of a study that
highlights key SMB communications pain points. Sixty-nine percent
of the companies surveyed buy their broadband internet and phone
services from separate suppliers and only 8% would not consider
buying these services from the same supplier.
Forty-five percent say they could grow their businesses faster
if they could gain access to the latest communications
technologies, at the right price, with the right customer support;
52% would like a 24/7 customer support option, and 9% would pay a
premium for this. Some 61% have held back buying more phone lines
because the costs were too high; 63% think their voice supplier
does not understand their business and 68% feel the same way about
their broadband supplier.
