Intelliden cited as network configuration management leader

Intelliden, a provider of standards-based network automation products, has been recognised as the global market leader in network configuration management applications, according to independent industry analyst, IDC.

The IDC report, Worldwide Network Configuration Management 2005-2009 Forecast and Analysis, cites Intelliden as the market leader in the network configuration management market, ahead of other leading suppliers.

It states, "As networks become more sophisticated, performance of applications over evolving networks becomes much more critical. Managing the configuration of the network, network elements, and services can no longer be handled by basic scripts, spreadsheets and proprietary tools with limited functionality."

Intelliden says that its aim is to help customers simplify, standardise and automate mission critical networks in order to proactively enforce security and compliance policies, and to lower users' operational expenditure.
