Computer Associates has introduced a data protection
suite for Microsoft Windows Server System for Mid-Size
Business.
The CA Business Protection Suite for Mid-Size Business for
Windows includes anti-virus software, anti-spyware software, data
back-up and restore, and desktop migration technologies.
The basic suite supports 50 users, with extra user licences
available in multiples of five.
Microsoft Windows Server System for Mid-Size Business comprises
Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, Exchange Server 2003 Standard
Edition and Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Workgroup Edition.
The package is designed to simplify infrastructure management,
reduce costs and improve security.
Microsoft's definition of a mid-size company is one that has
between 50 and 1,000 employees and 25 to 500 PCs.
