SMEs offered new data management suite

Ipswitch, the network management, messaging and file transfer solutions provider, has released the Ipswitch WS_FTP Data Management Suite for SMEs.
The new offering delivers workflow-enabled data management to small businesses by combining the company’s file transfer protocol products, consisting of WS_FTP Professional 2006, WS_FTP Server and the WS_FTP Secure Software Development Kit (SDK).
Ipswitch said that unlike other complex enterprise data management tools which require extensive programming, the WS_FTP Data Management Suite enables everyone in the organisation to set up and manage secure data movement.
End users can use the automation capabilities built into WS_FTP Professional 2006 to schedule and manage recurring data management applications. Server administrators can implement workflows by customising the Notification Engine of WS_FTP Server.
The WS_FTP Data Management Suite is available for £1,011 until 15 October.
