Business Objects has launched a new business
intelligence tool for smaller businesses.
Crystal Reports Server XI is a web-based reporting solution with
scalable usage prices designed to attract smaller
organisations.
The package includes one year of support and maintenance and
also comes with Business Objects training credits so that
businesses can choose the method and timing which best suits their
training needs.
Jacqueline Coolidge, an analyst at AMR Research, said, "Overall
business intelligence tool adoption is on the rise, and mid-size
companies will represent a growing share of the market in 2005.
Successful business intelligence vendor strategies will address the
needs of the mid-market."
