Software AG has reorganised its international divisions
to facilitate its expansion in its 59 established markets, and to
strengthen the development of new ones.
The company has created three international regions: North
America/Northern Europe, Southern Europe/Latin America, and
Central/Asia. Mark Edwards, member of Software AG’s management
board, will lead the North America/Northern Europe region.
According to Software AG (SA) sales director, Devon Dalbock, the
new international structure exploits the traditional close
connections of the English-speaking countries with the strength and
innovation of the US market, for effective market
development.
"This new organisational structure supports the recent
restructuring of research and development, product management and
marketing for Software AG’s strategic areas, addressing the
modernisation of Enterprise Transaction Systems (product families
Adabas and Natural) and XML-based Integration (product families
Tamino XML Server and EntireX)," he added.
"The company's financial performance for the second quarter ending
30 June is proof that this strategy is already paying
dividends.
"The fact that Software AG's licence revenue, full quarterly
revenue and earnings came in above market expectations are a strong
indication that our strategy of focusing on our core strengths of
Enterprise Transaction System modernisation and XML Business
Integration' is working," Dalbock said.
