BCS group to back wireless development

The group plans to produce a journal with refereed papers aimed at engineers and researchers. It also wants to develop a research agenda, using the results to influence external organisations.
As well as providing guidelines, training and consultancy, the group aims to develop links with bodies such as the Open Mobility Alliance, the World Wireless Research Forum and the Global Wireless Education Consortium.
It is also aiming to organise a competition for young graduates.
Membership is free.
