An anti-bullying network and a remote medical monitoring
device were among five of the pioneering IT projects that carried
off the honours at the eWell-Being awards last week.
Set up to promote the environmental, economic and social
benefits of IT, the awards were developed by research body
SustainIT and are supported by BT.
Bullying Online, a charity that helps parents and children deal
with bullying, won the digital inclusion category for using IT to
bridge the digital divide.
Telemedic Systems scooped the wireless award for its VitalLink
1200, a medical monitoring device designed for use in remote
locations.
