Kevin Power has stepped down from his role of chief technology officer (CTO) at the utilities firm to join a consultancy outfit.
Power joined United Utilities in 2007 and left the company in September this year. He joined Xantus Consulting, a business focused on selling services to enable IT business change, this month.
United Utilities has confirmed Power's departure and added that the CTO's former role and team have been inherited by Mike Naden, the firm's IT director.
Naden joined the utilities company in 2006 as operations director. His previous experience includes senior IT roles at Littlewoods and Shop Direct.
